1. Independent Platform

CUI Marketplace is an independent community marketplace built for the COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus community. It is not owned, operated, endorsed, or affiliated with COMSATS University Islamabad in any way.

2. What We Are

CUI Marketplace only connects buyers and sellers within the verified campus community. We do not manufacture, own, inspect, or guarantee any product listed on the platform.

3. No Guarantee of Products or Payments

We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing, nor do we guarantee that any payment or delivery will be completed as agreed between users.

4. Disputes Between Users

CUI Marketplace is not responsible for resolving disputes between buyers and sellers. Users are strongly encouraged to inspect items in person, meet in safe public campus locations, and verify product condition before completing any transaction.

5. Eligibility & Verification

Registration is limited to individuals who hold a valid @cuilahore.edu.pk email address, including current students, alumni, faculty, and administrative staff. Accounts found to misrepresent eligibility may be suspended or banned.

6. User Conduct

Users agree to behave respectfully toward other members, to list only items they have the right to sell, and to communicate honestly. Harassment, threats, and discriminatory conduct are not tolerated.

7. Fraudulent Activity

Any fraudulent activity, including but not limited to fake listings, scam attempts, counterfeit goods, or payment fraud, may result in immediate and permanent account suspension, in addition to any other remedies available to affected users.

8. Content Removal

CUI Marketplace reserves the right to remove any listing, review, or message that violates these terms, campus policy, or applicable law, without prior notice.

9. Seller Accounts

Seller accounts are subject to a registration fee and admin approval. Approval is not guaranteed and may be revoked for policy violations. Fees paid for a rejected or revoked application are non-refundable unless otherwise stated at the time of payment.

10. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
